Puerto Madryn is a small town in the province of Chubut, Argentina, on the shores of Golfo Nuevo, originally inhabited by the Welsh, because of its strategic location has great importance as a tourist destination, is the gateway to the Valdes Peninsula, was declared by UNESCO as Natural Patrimony of Humanity in 1999.
