Myrtle Beach is a tourist center, known for its great beaches, restaurants, seafood and excellent shopping in South Carolina, United States. More than 14 million tourists visit the city annually. The area is popular for visitors coming from the state of West Virginia, and many tourists say the city is the region south of West Virginia.

It was uninhabited until 1900, when a railroad was built between Conway and the region where today is located in Myrtle Beach. The railway was opened in 1899 in the town of Pine Island and was extended by 6.4 km towards the future city that would be built. By the 1930s, the city grew with the purpose of including the current location of Ocean Forest. Canal intercostal (Intercoastal Waterway) began to be built this decade.

Myrtle Beach was incorporated as a city of sub category (town) in 1938 and incorporated in the primary category of city (city) in 1957, and on this occasion, the town was renamed “Myrtle Beach”, which is the same name trees in the region and because the city is located close to beaches. Myrtle Beach continued to grow, and in 60 years, the shopping center of Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Square Mall) was built and the city became associated with tourism. The main route of the city, U.S. 17 Bypass, was also built in this decade.

There’s no perfect vacation to this spot unless you spend your time in a beautiful Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel, Towers on The Grove. It is one of the most popular hotel in a whole area, located in Cherry Grove section of Myrtle Beach. Although most of Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotels offer a beautiful beach view and great services, but I can’t tell about most of them while I only had one time experience with it. I must say that Towers on The Grove is a very perfect one, based on my experience in traveling around the world.
